Q. Dustin Johnson shot a phenomenal round. Congratulations on a fantastic day. You've had some great starts this season, but you have not been able to translate that into the weekend. Here you are with a good start. What's going to change for you this weekend compared to the last?

DUSTIN JOHNSON: I feel like the game is starting to come together. I know it's late in the season, but I've been working at it hard. It just hasn't really clicked. Even last week, I got off to a decent start. I putted really well the first day, so that was kind of the difference. I putted really good the first day and just didn't really make anything the next two days.

Today I hit it really well. Pretty much all my birdies were either tap-ins or inside 10 feet. Definitely took a lot of stress off the putter. I missed a couple close ones, but rolled it really nice and very pleased with how I played and definitely how I swung it.

Q. You've had a win in every season since 2008 other than 2014 when you were injured. How much is that going to be a motivation for you to keep that streak alive this weekend?

DUSTIN JOHNSON: Yeah, I mean, I've still got a few more tournaments this year, so it's not like it's that much pressure on me. But obviously I always want to win. That's the goal. That's why I'm out here. I still feel like I have the game to compete at the highest level.

Yeah, it would be nice to finish off the year with a win, but obviously there's two more rounds and a lot of good players and still 36 holes to go.
