Quick Quotes
Q. Okay, here with Peiyun Chien after her second round at the The Standard Portland Classic. Talk about the past few days of play out here?
PEIYUN CHIEN: I think I have really solid two days. My friend, Jessica, she's here with me. I just tried to change a little bit my game, like really focus every shot because I think too much about the result this year, so very care about score.
So really focus this moment; I think I did very well.
Q. Yeah. What's it been like to see some of those low numbers? You had 5-under yesterday and 3-under today. What's it been like to see low numbers?
PEIYUN CHIEN: I think it's stay patient, because if I didn't make the birdie like two holes, three holes, I would very angry and slam something.
I just kind of change my mind. Just keep playing.
Q. What do you like about this golf course? It seems like some of the tee shots are very narrow. How do you stay focused and enjoy the course?
PEIYUN CHIEN: Actually every time come back here I was feel very challenge. It's not easy course, but the score is very low every time. So just need to commit every shot, like what you want. I think I should get a membership here. This is good for practice.
Q. And what have you been working on most in your game?
PEIYUN CHIEN: I believe it's my putting speed. Yeah. That's pretty hard.
Q. And how have you been practicing that? Certain drills or anything?
PEIYUN CHIEN: Not really. I'm kidding. Yeah, just need to practice like (indiscernible) is basic speed you have to use and change a little bit stroke.
I think it really helps.
Q. And you have the same putter?
PEIYUN CHIEN: No, I change it. I change to lag putter this week. (Indiscernible) so actually I change my grip. Really softer and a little more wrist.
Q. What grip did you change to?
PEIYUN CHIEN: Like this.
Q. Like that? So right-hand low? So like Scottie's?
PEIYUN CHIEN: Yes.
Q. How do you know your friend that's caddieing this week?
FRIEND: We know each other a long time. I stay behind the scenes.
Q. Yeah. How do you know each other and maybe why did you ask her to caddie?
PEIYUN CHIEN: I just think I really need someone to talk with me on the course like with Mandarin. English to me is a little sometimes very hard to me, so Mandarin is way easier.
