Q. Okay, here with Kiara after the second round of The Standard Portland Classic. 3-under round after a 5-under round in the first day. Kind of talk about how everything was going today. Started off with an early bogey and settle the down and got things going looks like.

KIARA ROMERO: Yeah, I think it was a little harder to warm up just being in the morning. Just had to get a few holes to get the blood flowing and everything. Once we had that going everything was rolling pretty smoothly.

I was hitting it pretty good out there. Putting was okay. Wasn't bad. These greens are pretty fast but I'm getting used to them, so hopefully I can just keep staying patient and maybe they'll start to drop.

Q. You mentioned hitting some greens. After that bogey, pretty much hit every green on the way in. Did you find something out there? Was it more comfortability after the first few holes?

KIARA ROMERO: I think it was just kind of settling into the first few holes, just getting used to the yardages. The ball is going a little bit shorter this morning than yesterday afternoon. Once we had that, we were pretty good.

Q. You played in a couple majors; this is your first LPGA event. Now you've made the cut in your first LPGA event. How does it feel to get this experience under your belt a little bit?

KIARA ROMERO: Yeah, it feels really good just to see my game match up against some of these pros, just getting more comfortable playing in front of crowds and stuff. My first time playing in front of a big crowd I kind of got a little bit shaken up and was nervous out there. I'm getting more comfortable, just and getting the experience out here means a lot.

Q. What have you learned about your game? You said maybe a little nerves playing in front of the crowd. What have you learned about your game obviously playing well now in front of these crowds?

KIARA ROMERO: I've learned a lot with my mentality and just knowing how to stay patient out there. You make a mistake early on in the holes, I'm just really confident in getting things together in the next few holes.

So just knowing how to stay patient and be confident in myself.
