Q. Okay, here with Juli Inkster after her first round at The Standard Portland Classic. 3-under to start this event. Just talk about how it felt for you out there.

JULI INKSTER: I was a little nervous teeing off. Settled in pretty good. I think those first two, three, and four are really good holes and I was able to come away with some pars.

You know, I actually thought I putted really well today. Hit a lot of good irons and I drove the ball well. I was happy with that.

Q. Talk about those emotions on the tee box. I think I saw Nancy talk to you a little bit before you headed up there.

JULI INKSTER: Yeah.

Q. Just talk about the tee shot.

JULI INKSTER: Yeah, you know, luckily I was playing with Stacy and Hannah who I know, so we had an easy group out there. I felt comfortable with them.

But, yeah, it was fun to play well and post a nice number.

Q. Yeah. Also Nancy was talking about earlier in the week a little bit of banter you used to have, how she used to outdrive allegedly.

JULI INKSTER: You know what? She tells that all the time. I just, whatever, just give it to her. But, yeah, well, Nancy is a hell of a player, Hall of Famer and what she has done for women's golf, you know, just she's won every accolade there is. She's a great ambassador for women's golf, golf period.

Q. I saw you working on a couple things: Putting green; range.

JULI INKSTER: Yeah.

Q. Anything you're working on specifically?

JULI INKSTER: You know what? I feel like I'm a little inconsistent so I'm just trying to kind of grind it up a little bit. I don't think the weather is supposed to be that great tomorrow. Might be a little shorter warm up. Just want to get some stuff in.

Q. You had a good bit of cheers coming up.

JULI INKSTER: Yeah.

Q. Did you feel like you had a lot of support out here today?

JULI INKSTER: I did. I did. I think they're all my age. Yeah, it was great. We had a really good group out there following us so it was fun.
