Quick Quotes
Q. (In progress.)
SUNG HYUN PARK: As of late my ball striking and putting was starting to feel quite comfortable and that's exactly what happened today. I was able to make confident swings and also feel great about the strokes I made on the greens.
Q. Can you talk about what you like most about this course, if it suits your eye?
SUNG HYUN PARK: So it's been my seventh or eighth year for this golf course so I generally feel a lot of the comfort coming in. It's a really pretty golf course to the eye. The finishing holes, 16 to 18, do make me a little nervous but I do feel like I enjoy the challenge of the finishing holes.
So I enjoy that as well.
Q. What about them makes you nervous? Is there something, the layout of the holes?
SUNG HYUN PARK: So 16, the green is quite firm so you really have to land not perfect spot to get it close to the pin which makes it tough.
17 and 18 it's mostly about the tee shot. Just visually it is a little bit tough probably for everyone.
And then, yeah, but I still like the holes. Just find them a little challenging.
Q. And in preparation for this event in the past couple months is there anything you've been working on in your game?
SUNG HYUN PARK: I had an event in Korea just before this, and I had about a month to really prepare for that event. Focused a lot on just making myself as consistent as possible in all parts of my game to lead into that event and just kind of fed right into this event.
