Q. Okay, here with Miranda Wang after the first round of Standard Portland Classic. Bogey-free 7 under 65. Just talk about your day today a little bit.

MIRANDA WANG: Today I just -- my swing was very pure and I had so much trust in my swing. That's really helpful. I see the number and hit my shot and it just turn out really good.

My putting was improved a lot over the last -- from the last few weeks. I was happy with it.

Q. Can you kind of talk about the back nine a little bit? You hit every fairway and then made five birdies coming in. Talk about that closing stretch of holes.

MIRANDA WANG: I think I was in -- I feel like I was in the zone today, so after one birdie I just forget about it and make the next win.

Q. You mentioned this is your third 65 this year. Been playing really well. Just talk about just how the overall game is feeling. You said the swing was pure. How is everything else going?

MIRANDA WANG: Actually starting beginning of the season I was doing pretty good of my swing, but it's first year. Like mentally I had some ups and downs. For the second half of the season I just hope myself can be more calm under pressure when I'm on the leaderboard. I just told myself to focus on the next shot.

Q. In your rookie season right now; have made ten cuts already. Just talk about your rookie season a little bit. How are things going? How much more comfortable are you now in this later half of the season than maybe the beginning of the year?

MIRANDA WANG: Yeah, so it's like a dream come true. Like dream tour to every girl golfer. I'm just really happy; enjoying it out there.

Also game-wise, I was looking I started this year really good. I had my first tournament in Dubai. I finished top 10. It just sets me up pretty good mentally and also my game for the season. So I'm just enjoying it and try to do my best every day.

Q. You obviously mentioned it's always a dream to be out here on the LPGA Tour. How cool is it to see, very early in the day still, but see your name at the top of the leaderboard when you're walking down those fairways?

MIRANDA WANG: I try to do it more often, to put my name on the leaderboard like more often and get myself used to like playing in this condition and playing with pressure.

Eventually I want to win, so I want to give myself as many chance as possible.
