Eric Lee

San Francisco, California, USA

The Olympic Club

Quick Quotes

Q. That was probably one of the best iron shots I've ever seen in my life on 1. Just talk me through that shot and what happened.

ERIC LEE: Honestly, I had a pretty good lie out of there. So I knew that, if I just started it just left of the tree, the wind would do its thing and bring it back to the green. Luckily, I started it right on my line, and the wind did push it back and ended up to around six feet.

Q. Filip's probably one of the worst guys you could play in the playoff, but just kind of talk me through that entire match and how it went.

ERIC LEE: I knew he's a great player, so obviously I knew I had to come out attacking from the start. He had an early lead on me, but I tried to stay as patient as possible.

Can't lie, I was getting pretty impatient out there, but my caddie kept me pretty calm, or at least he tried to. Somehow, before I knew it, I was tied with him, and then I had a lead on him.

Yeah, he brought it back on 17 with a good birdie, but I think I was just able to outlast him on this last.

Q. What, if anything, do you change for tomorrow? Any swing thoughts or things you want to improve?

ERIC LEE: Nothing, just try to keep everything the same. I think consistency is key, so try to keep everything the same going into tomorrow too.
