Q. 3&2 today. Tell me a little bit more about how your round went, how you're feeling out there overall.

KATELYN KONG: Feeling pretty good. Today after my round (Wind interference.) But kind of just trying to do the same thing and play whatever game I'm playing and work with what I've got.

It gets windy out here and I know it's going to be tough, so I think I was like mentally prepared for that.

Q. Yeah, absolutely. I feel like today was kind of the first day where we really had some like tougher wind conditions. Walk me through if there was anything you changed about your game to combat that.

KATELYN KONG: I think you just have to keep it pretty simple when it's this windy. Like you got to swing smooth, swing easy, because swinging hard is really not going to help you at all.

Q. That makes sense. And talk me through, like kind of had a hot streak on the back there. There was a little bit of back and forth where you were at in your match. Was there anything going through your mind about staying calm through that time and making sure that you get -- stay ahead in that moment?

KATELYN KONG: I think -- I try not to think about it too much because I think if I do, it just puts so much pressure on yourself.

So try to keep myself a little distracted is and just talk to my caddie and talk about other things, yeah.

Q. Absolutely.

KATELYN KONG: Yeah.

KATELYN KONG: Yeah, anything but golf.

Q. Last question: Take me through what are you preparing for in terms of tomorrow? Anything mindset-wise that you're looking forward to?

KATELYN KONG: I'm just excited that I get to make it to the next round of match play. We have a hotel on the resort now, so get to stay a little bit closer.

KATELYN KONG: Yeah. Just excited to play again. The course is great. It's super fun. You can get really creative on this course.
