Q. Chiara, you had a very strong performance, finishing just outside the top 10. What's gone well for you this week?

CHIARA TAMBURLINI: Yeah, I think especially on Thursday Friday, I was really, really solid off the tee. Struggled more with that over the weekend. I think that's what cost me a bit as well to really make a push on the weekend. It was still good golf, but that's why I dropped down a little bit.

I made some good putts today as well on the back nine to kind of keep me in it, which was really good. Overall, really exciting week, and I guess a bit of a confidence builder as well.

Q. Definitely. It was tough weather conditions out there today. Very different from some of the other days. How was it for you?

CHIARA TAMBURLINI: Yeah, it was definitely really windy. I feel like yesterday was honestly similar already, so it was good in that sense. It just doesn't forgive much. Bad shots can just be taken any way in the wind really.

So I think there's not just much margin for error, and that's what really makes it difficult.

Q. Definitely. Can you just talk about the whole experience and all the crowd and the fans that came out to watch you today?

CHIARA TAMBURLINI: The crowds have been incredible all week really. I think ever since Wednesday in the practice round even. Just the whole setup as well that the R&A puts up this week is incredible. We're taken care of so well here the whole week, and it's a really special week.

Q. Have you been able to use any of the player services as well, sort of a nail bar as well?

CHIARA TAMBURLINI: No, I didn't have time to go there. I was in the physio a lot, which I suppose is good too.

Q. And how special was it having your mom and your sister here this week?

CHIARA TAMBURLINI: Yeah, it was really cool. Honestly it's just so nice. Today as well. I had a bit of a rough patch, and they were always there smiling at me and encouraging me, and I think that's so motivating.

You're out here fighting by yourself a lot as well, and to know they're here with you really means a lot.

Q. Definitely. Do they come to many events?

CHIARA TAMBURLINI: Actually, my sister has come to two now, and my mom has come, I think, to four or five. Not too much, but they've come to a couple.

Q. So they're a good luck charm?

CHIARA TAMBURLINI: They are for sure.
