Q. Congratulations on a top 10 finish.
MEGAN KHANG: Thank you.
Q. Fairly difficult out there today. Tougher to get the putts to go today?
MEGAN KHANG: Honestly I couldn't find a fairway today, so scrambled for an even round. It was fun watching Charley play. I always have good fun with Charley out there. It was inspiring to see some of the putts she was making, so hopefully I could take the lid off a little sooner than I'd hoped. Kind of hard to do it when I wasn't in the short stuff.
Honestly very happy with the fight back for even. I know it's not enough to win, but it is kind of nice to finish the major season with a top 10.
Q. Considering you were hitting fairways so well the first three rounds, it must be somewhat disappointing to you today.
MEGAN KHANG: Yeah, I know. It was definitely disappointing. It was a combination of hitting good some drives and then just getting an unfortunate bounce. That's links golf. You kind of have to have a little luck on your side.
Overall, I'm not going to let this round take away from the ball striking today. Other than a couple errant tee shots, the ball striking was there.
I made some pretty good par saves, and honestly to hit 13 greens after only hitting 4 fairways, I was pretty happy with myself. Yeah, a lot of positives to take from here.
Q. So the overall assessment for the week is a plus?
MEGAN KHANG: I mean, whenever you come over here and you're playing in these major tests, whenever I don't necessarily have my best game with me and I can still manage to scrape together an even-par round, especially during the final round with a pretty popular favourite over here, it's nice to know I can like kind of scrap one together.
Definitely more positives than negative. Obviously got to work on some stuff and hopefully be a little more dialed in the next time I'm in contention. Definitely going to give myself a pat on the back with the weather conditions too as well with the wind.
Q. There were no, Go Megans out there?
MEGAN KHANG: No, there were some. It was really nice. The fans here are awesome. They're very polite. Obviously a lot of, Go Charleys, but there were a few, Go Megans. I appreciate the fans coming out here. There's always a good show out for the AIG Women's Open, and I'm really looking forward to next year.
