AIG WOMEN'S OPEN

August 3, 2025

Shannon Tan

Rest Bay, Porthcawl, Wales, UK

Mixed Zone

SHANNON TAN: I think the rain makes a huge difference. Doesn't really good as far and I think sometimes it skips on the green and sometimes it doesn't really skip. You got to kind of allow for like that margin I guess.

Q. How were you able to successfully negotiate that?

SHANNON TAN: I think just trying to pick out spots where you know you can miss it. Example you don't want to miss it long when you got your chip downwind. I guess you got to just play for your miss out there.

Q. When the leaders go over at 2:30 this afternoon, what do you think is going to be a reasonable score for them? Under par or just at par?

SHANNON TAN: Honestly, probably level par. I think a lot of people out there would take level par. It's quite tough out there. Right now especially if it starts raining again it's going to get tougher as well.
