Q. Mimi, I think a good place to start is the hole-in-one on the 5th. Can you just walk us through that?
MIMI RHODES: Yeah, I hit a really good 8-iron, hit it right where I wanted it to. Yeah, I wasn't expecting it to go in, so I just picked up my tee, and I heard everyone going crazy. Yeah, extra loud than usual, so I knew something had happened. Then we just walked up to the green and it was in the hole.
I had no idea it hit Steph's ball until I just saw the video, so that's unbelievable.
Q. Tough weather conditions out there. How was it?
MIMI RHODES: Yeah, it was tough. It was definitely a grind. Putts weren't dropping as much today. So I had to just stay patient, and I unfortunately didn't have a very good finish the last three or four holes, but it feels nice to finish up with a birdie.
Q. Definitely. I was about to mention that birdie, nice finish there. We heard the crowd from here actually. How were the crowds today?
MIMI RHODES: I think it's been so nice all week playing in front of my 30 family members and home crowds as well. It's been an unforgettable week. Yeah, I'm really happy with where my game's at.
Q. Is there anything in particular that you've been working on recently where you thought this has really come through this week?
MIMI RHODES: Funny thought. I just went back to a swing thought that I had back in March. It's just really helped me get my strike back and my feel. I think this week has definitely given me confidence of start lines as well. I just went out there and just thought I've got nothing to lose. Yeah, proud of how much commitment I did on shots.
Q. Definitely. Really strong finish to your first AIG Women's Open. Can you sum it up in three words?
MIMI RHODES: Magical. It was, yeah, magical, incredible, and unforgettable.
