Q. (Regarding smiling Cinderella.) Do you have nickname in Japan?
MIYU YAMASHITA: What do you think it should be? (Laughter.)
Q. (No microphone.)
MIYU YAMASHITA: Yeah, that's a great nickname. Thank you.
Q. (No microphone.)
MIYU YAMASHITA: Tomorrow I'll be focused on one shot at a time and that's how I'll play my best golf.
Q. And final question: You played very well at Muirfield 2022, in contention that week. Do you remember that experience and will it help tomorrow?
MIYU YAMASHITA: Yeah, the winds are really strong so that's something where club selection becomes quite difficult. That's something which I'm going to be focused on tomorrow, something I can draw on the experience in Muirfield and improve on tomorrow.
Q. (No microphone.)
MIYU YAMASHITA: I think one of the main things is not missing in the wrong spots. Because I'm able to do that that means I don't put myself in awkward positions and helps me not make those bogeys which can cost you so much at these championships.
Q. So you'll be wanting to be celebrating tomorrow night. What do you do tonight in preparation?
MIYU YAMASHITA: Today I'll be just looking at what went wrong and what went right and analyzing the day and make the improvements that hopefully will lead to a better round tomorrow.
Q. (Regarding being paired with Rio Takeda.)
MIYU YAMASHITA: Yeah, it was really nice playing with her three days and something I've really enjoyed, but tomorrow I'll be just focusing on playing my normal golf, playing the golf I always play, and hopefully that leads to a good result.
