AIG WOMEN'S OPEN

August 2, 2025

Alexa Pano

Rest Bay, Porthcawl, Wales, UK

Mixed Zone

Q. How about the conditions compared to yesterday?

ALEXA PANO: Felt a little easier. I hit the ball really good today, and I think that was partially just based off of how much easier it felt today. Yeah, I think you're going to see some lower scores out there.

Q. You took advantage of 18 a little bit and go back to even par. How do you feel about where you sit? Is this you're kind of ascending a little bit with your game these days?

ALEXA PANO: Yeah, like I said, I was really happy with my ball striking, and that's something I've been working on. I couldn't get any putts to fall, but 2-under is a steady number out here. Obviously, I would have liked a bit more, but pleased with where my game is heading now.

Q. How tough was it to make the turnaround? You were the last to finish last night and had to go out first pretty much.

ALEXA PANO: It was very early, but it was worth it to have the conditions we had. So I wasn't too mad. I saw that I wasn't first off, so I was excited about that.

Q. Are you getting your waterproofs ready for tomorrow?

ALEXA PANO: Yeah, we're already here. I'm ready. I haven't really had much of like the normal weather over here. I think we had maybe one rainy day in Scotland last week. So I've been waiting for it. I've had it packed all week.
