Q. Tell me about your round today. Different conditions and then changing over the round.

PAULA MARTIN SAMPEDRO: Yeah, I played really solid golf, definitely super different than yesterday. Just tried to stay patient, enjoy the round, and I started with a couple birdies in the first few holes, which are hard. I knew I was playing good and a good round today. Yeah, just happy and happy to shoot under par today.

Q. What do you think is different from your strategy then the rest of the field? Are there things that you're doing differently?

PAULA MARTIN SAMPEDRO: Yeah, I try to stay consistent, especially when a mistake comes, just not trying to do too much and accept that and just walk out with a bogey, and that could be good. Just not trying to make like big numbers on this course.

Q. Are you keeping track of your position as an amateur this week, knowing where you are and if you have a chance or not?

PAULA MARTIN SAMPEDRO: Yeah, that Best Amateur would be a very good recognition. I actually play with one of the amateurs that also made the cut. So I knew how she was doing, but I have no idea how Carla is doing. Yeah, just excited for tomorrow and see if another good round could come.
