Q. Tell us about the round today.

LAURA FUENFSTUECK: Yes, very, very happy with that. Would've happily taken this at the beginning the day. First few holes played brutal. I was quite happy to get through to 5 just being 1-over really.

So, yeah, quite happy overall. I think my short game saved me a couple times today. Yeah, very pleased. Excited for the weekend.

Q. And the hard conditions in the afternoon.

LAURA FUENFSTUECK: Yeah.

Q. Hard to score in the afternoon, no?

LAURA FUENFSTUECK: Yeah.

Q. What was the best holes for you in these conditions?

LAURA FUENFSTUECK: Well, I think it just played slightly different than what we've known the last few days. Obviously it was mor of a northerly wind rather than a westerly wind. Yeah, a couple of the holes you had to adjust a little bit.

Then also we've had a couple holes where it definitely died down a little bit in the afternoon. Obviously the first few holes were quite strong. You're trying to get through them not dropping any shots really.

Yeah, chipped in on -- I think was it the second or the third? Yeah, that's probably my favorite of the today. Yeah, haven't chipped in in a while and that definitely helped.

Q. 11-under is at the top. Is that unreachable do you think?

LAURA FUENFSTUECK: Well, I saw that she was running away a little bit earlier, which I think actually helped me try and refocus a little bit. I think it's quite easy when you're up there to start looking downwards or upwards.

Saw that she was running away a little bit and thought I better not try and lose too much ground there. That definitely helped a little bit.

Obviously she'll have a target on her back, lots of girls chasing her this weekend. I'll try and be one of them.

Q. So kind of your attitude then?

LAURA FUENFSTUECK: Well, it's been a while since I played a weekend in a major. I'm just buzzing to be here. It's a privilege to compete with everyone and compete with the best players in the world. I'm excited to be here. Super tired now. Ready for dinner, a good night's sleep, then, yeah, very excited to get going tomorrow and see if I can chase her a little bit.
