Q. So how do we talk about this. Do we call this a rollercoaster today?
ANDREA LEE: Is that your first question?
Q. Yes. Overall assessment.
ANDREA LEE: Yeah, it was a rollercoaster. No, it was. I mean, the conditions were so tough out there. The wind started gusting probably 30 minutes before I tee'd off and I knew it was going to be a tough one.
Yeah, I played really solid golf. I mean, level par today is something I would've taken at the beginning of the round, so, yeah, I'm looking forward to the weekend and playing pretty solid.
Q. You got some major run-outs on a couple holes on the back nine where just the ball kept going and going and going.
ANDREA LEE: Yeah.
Q. Is that a little bit harder because it's downwind and the golf course is getting harder?
ANDREA LEE: Yeah, that's links golf. If it's downwind and the fairways are really firm it's going to roll out 30, 40 yards. You just have to play for that and play smart and know where the run-outs are so you don't hit into any fairway bunkers.
So just trying to calculate that.
Q. You're pretty good at keeping your emotions under control. With the frustrations of stuff that happens out there, it's tough to do. Are you finding it easier to do as you play more links golf in these conditions, typically when you're in contention pretty much?
ANDREA LEE: I mean, I think so. I'm just still nine shots back of the leader going into the weekend. Yeah, I still have a shot I guess.
Yeah, I try not to get too frustrated out there. I mean, as tough as the conditions are you just have to stay really positive and patient. Some of the -- couple of the bogeys I had today honestly felt like pars.
I had to make three-footers and a five-footer to save a bogey. I wasn't even pissed after that. Yeah, just definitely tough out there. Just had to fight.
