Q. Anna, not the result you would have wanted, of course, but a positive week and good team building to get some wins together again. What positives can you take from the week?

ANNA KALINSKAYA: Well, I had a couple of good wins, so I'm definitely going to remember that and learn from that and from today's match, as well.

Of course it's not the way I wanted to finish the tournament, but tomorrow it's already new tournament, so hopefully I can have this confidence to play better next weeks.

Q. Playing Leylah, she's a left-hander. It's the first time you have played a left-hander in over a year. How tricky is that?

ANNA KALINSKAYA: Yeah, it was very tricky for me. I couldn't find my rhythm at all. I felt great the last couple of days, but today was left-handed, and I tried to remember when was the last time I played left-handed. I think maybe last one was Haddad Maia.

So I don't really have anyone who I can hit with left-handed. It's very difficult to find. There are not too many. It was definitely an issue for me today.

Q. Of course, fast turnaround for tournaments. Tricky to process the emotions, but how do you try and take positives into Montreal?

ANNA KALINSKAYA: Well, tomorrow is a new day and a new opportunity. I don't have too much time to think. Of course I will take my moment to reflect on what happened today to learn so I can do better next time in the final, but yeah, I don't have too much time to think, because tomorrow already I need to practice, get used to other conditions.
