Q. After your final round here at the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open. Just a great round from you today, great week. Take us through it.

MARY LIU: Yeah, I can't believe it happens because last year when I first start to came here and I finish tied 25th, but I'm the fourth player to get AIG, I was really, really a little sad and I want to do better next year.

And this year, I do pretty good, even though I got 4-over on the first round, but I learned a lot of things from that. After that, I just keep climbing.

So I'm just, overall, like all this practise and all the experience I've learned, and then like my coach, my family and everyone who support me makes who I am right now. So I have to say really, really good things here for everyone who always root for me and cheer me on. Always golf is up and down, up and down, but always have someone to cheer you up, it feels so good.

Q. And obviously knowing what you needed to do to play your way into AIG next week, was that on top of your mind the whole week or was that kind of something you realised kind of later down the stretch?

MARY LIU: As I say, last year, actually from last year, and then for the goal of this year, actually I want to play all the majors, but I miss the U.S. Open. But that's fine.

I'm really, really happy and grateful that I can't have this opportunity from this tournament, and then to play the AIG is the best.

Q. And talk about your week here at Dundonald Links. What will you take away from this week in terms of playing links golf heading into next week?

MARY LIU: I feel like next is links golf, also, right? It's nearby the ocean. So I don't know, it's major. Definitely a lot of pressure and the course conditions, a little bit harder, but still, I mean, it's an adventure for me, I think second year on the LPGA, I still have lots of things to learn, and then even I just have a chance to play the AIG, I feel it's a dream come true.
