Quick Quotes
Q. Moving day at Sunningdale, and you certainly did some of that today.
SCOTT HEND: Hopefully more moving will be done tomorrow. It's always nice to get a late tee time or later than what I had, see what happens tomorrow.
Q. Looked like you were playing better than you were scoring, waxing you yesterday. What clicked for you today?
SCOTT HEND: I played exactly the same -- well, sorry. Nine good holes I played yesterday, I played exactly the same today.
Just holed a couple of putts but I feel like I just missed a ton of putts out there. But it's poa annua greens and that's my most disliked surface on any golf course.
Q. When you say that, my next question, I was speaking to a lot of your fellow countrymen in the field, Aussies seem to love this course and seem to be scoring well on it.
SCOTT HEND: I wouldn't play on this grass on my neighbor's next door in their yard, no chance. I hate this grass. It's terrible grass. Anyway, I grew up on bermudagrass and bent. Just like Simon said to me, stand over your putt, feel like you missed it anyway; you might hole a few.
Q. You've had a taste of success on the Legends Tour, a couple of victories and leading the Order of Merit. What would it mean to you to come out with the trophy tomorrow?
SCOTT HEND: It means I can stay at home a lot more in the States and play the Champions Tour. That's the end goal. Just keep cracking at it. Feel like I played good enough. Just got to have my week and hopefully it's the right week where I'm situated and playing at a Champions Tour event.
