Quick Quotes (2)
Q. Here now with Lottie Woad after her third round at the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open. Very solid round from you again today. Just what's working so well for you this week?
LOTTIE WOAD: I think I've been pretty solid tee-to-green. I hit a lot of greens again today and probably the best tee-to-green compared to the last two days. Just didn't hole maybe as many putts but generally had hit a lot of good putts. So can't complain too much.
Q. How do you remain patient in these kind of moments, in these kind of conditions, and let the birdies come to you?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I think it's difficult, always. Definitely stayed patient. Had a pretty slow start. Especially when she chipped in for eagle and then I had to kind of try and make some birdies. Knew I was hitting it close. So had to just try and keep on doing that, really.
Q. Has this week felt any different to you in terms of your on-course mentality?
LOTTIE WOAD: Not really, no. Just trying to keep everything the same. That's been what I've been trying to do.
Q. How do you stay focused on what's in front of you going into what's an important final round tomorrow? Did Evian help prepare you for this at all?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, Evian, and I had some experience sleeping on the leads, as well, like whether that be in Ireland or at ANWA. So yeah, I know what to expect and obviously there will be some nerves but looking forward to get going.
Q. Quite a few players haven't really had the professional start that you have. Nelly said today that her professional debut was very much under the radar. Were you expecting this, or does this come as a shock, or just any thoughts on the attention?
LOTTIE WOAD: I don't think you can ever expect to be leading. But I knew my game was good and I was playing well the last, you know, month or so. So definitely hope to be contending.
So yeah, I'm just kind of where I wanted to be.
Q. And sort of a dream, winning on your professional debut?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah that would definitely be cool. Obviously you can't control what people are doing. I'm just going to try and play well, and if I play well, I'll be happy tomorrow.
Q. For Ireland and Evian, everyone was watching you at home. Will that be happening tomorrow?
LOTTIE WOAD: I expect so.
Q. Do you have any family up here with you who are watching?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, my dad is here, and my mum is coming up on the train tonight.
Q. Obviously got done signing all the autographs for the kids. How cool to see them coming out here and rooting for you in the U.K.?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it was great. Everyone's been very supportive and there's been a lot of kids out here which is nice to see. Yeah, they have been great.
