Q. A 67. How do you assess your day?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, it's pretty good because we tee off early morning. It's windy and a little bit of rain and then cold weather. With the front nine I shoot 4-under. It's pretty good score with the weather.
So, yeah, and back nine is still under par; very happy with that score.
Q. And the chip-in as well. That's always nice when this happens, isn't it?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yes. I had a good happen yesterday that I made an eagle from 75 yard and also today hole 18 I made a chip-in and eagle.
Yeah, it's feel great.
Q. Talking to your caddie before you came out, he said your round reminded him of a Scottie Scheffler round: Really solid. Putting it in the right places. Almost boring golf. What do you think of that? Agreeing your caddie?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, he's always talking to me. Hey, play like Scheffler. He's very steady. You have to play...
Yeah, I was like, don't push me anymore. Yeah, but it's kind of help what he recommend to me. Yeah, it's really help.
And couple days ago after he's told me that, I watching the British Open last week, so it's very help, yeah.
Q. Yeah, obviously that was a links course as well.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah.
Q. You told me you're learning to love links. Didn't play too much growing up and don't play much links in the year. It's a different test.
SEI YOUNG KIM: It is. When I play the first couple years I was really struggle with links course. I don't know how to play like because around the green is very firmer than the normal golf course.
So I have to learn how to play here. So, yeah, just spend time a lot and now is, yeah, I feel like a little bit know about it.
