Quick Quotes
Q. So in terms of your golf game today, what were you doing best out there in the conditions?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: I think I just stayed in play most of the day and then made a couple putts here and there. I wasn't really in any problems.
Yeah, so that's probably it.
Q. And in terms of your putting, how have you felt on the greens out there?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: I like them. I mean, normally I prefer really fast greens, but they're less break than we normally play on, so I tend to putt quite well here.
So I like them.
Q. And obviously this is the fourth consecutive year this tournament is at this venue. Have you got used to the places to miss, you know what you're doing round here?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: Yeah, my dad actually said before I got here that this must be the tournament that I played the most on because I played as a junior as well one of the -- whatever tournaments we played back then.
So I definitely know this course very well, yeah.
Q. Heading into the weekend, what is your game plan now that you're at the top of the leaderboard?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: Same: Stay in play, make a couple putts, and don't go too aggressive to the pins that are close to some of the edges.
Q. And how great preparation is this? Obviously there is majors next week. Having these two weeks a year, how great is it to have the two weeks back to back?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: Actually, I don't know because I'm a little divided. It's really good to get here and try some of the shots, but it's also when you're in wind for a long time you tend to move around in your swing.
So I'm very much divided. Last year was kind of heavy. I wasn't playing because they had horrible weather here; this year is a little bit more mild.
I think it's good preparation. You learn or get a little bit more used to the low shots and the half shots and stuff. Yeah, good.
