Q. Talk a little bit about the match today. Obviously came out on top. How did it feel out there?

NGUYEN ANH MINH: Yeah, I mean, when I first came out it was actually very nerve-wracking. I was almost late to my tee time, which I had to speed up a little bit with my walking.

So, yeah, it was a little bit nerve-wracking on the first tee and second hole. After that I kind of settled myself down and just got into the match.

Q. Talk about that a little bit. Got down early after the first two holes and fought your way back. What was going through your head that what gave you that kind of momentum to fight back and eventually come out on top?

NGUYEN ANH MINH: Yeah, it's Match Play. I mean, if you're down for two holes, it really means nothing. I mean, anything can happen. I mean, I still got 16 holes left to fight on.

Like in my head I was just thinking, all right, you still got 16 more chances to win. That's what kept me going.

Q. Yeah. Back in the quarterfinals. You were in the quarterfinals last year.

NGUYEN ANH MINH: Yeah, uh-huh.

Q. What kind of experience do you take from being here before and now moving forward?

NGUYEN ANH MINH: I mean, yeah, I learned a lot from my quarterfinal from last year. For this year I'm just going to try to really enjoy it. It is kind of I think my last junior event, so I'm just going to take in the moment, try to be patient with it, try to be happy of what the outcome is, and just going to try to have fun, to be honest.

Q. So no player from Vietnam has ever won a USGA Championship.

NGUYEN ANH MINH: I know, yeah.

Q. I know we're a few days away from that or a couple days, but what would it mean to be the first to win a USGA championship from your country?

NGUYEN ANH MINH: Yeah, to be the first from like a small country to actually win a USGA event would be amazing. I mean, it would be a dream come true.

You know, kids talk about that and USGA is, as you know, a really big deal. They always have the best tournaments. To come out on top in one of the USGA events, it's amazing. Yeah, dream come true.

Q. And just final thoughts going into tomorrow. 36 holes tomorrow possibly. What's on the agenda tonight going into tomorrow?

NGUYEN ANH MINH: Eat good and sleep good and get ready for tomorrow. That's it.
