Quick Quotes
Q. Impressive debut.
LOTTIE WOAD: I'll definitely take it. It was some good, some bad. Overall pretty fair.
Q. Conditions benign at the start but the wind got up, a decent test at the end?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, the last couple holes are tricky, with that wind, just playing for pars. There's definitely some chances out there with the par 5s.
Q. 11 was almost a hole-in-one.
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I didn't hit it very good, kind of looked away. It was nice to kick in.
Q. Obviously in that group, to score the way you did, you must be pleased with that.
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, definitely. Happy with the start.
Q. Expectations, obviously lots of people have expectations of you. How do you handle those expectations?
LOTTIE WOAD: Try and ignore it as much as possible. I have high expectations for myself, anyway, so just try and deal with that.
Q. Great crowd, says a lot about Nelly, but you as well.
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it was good crowds today. When I was teeing off so early, I didn't expect so many people.
Q. Are your parents here?
LOTTIE WOAD: My dad is here.
Q. You said a couple days ago, Charley Hull your idol. How was it playing with her today?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I've played with her before. It wasn't the first time. Everyone played well. So it was feeding off each other which is nice.
Q. In your professional debut, as well?
LOTTIE WOAD: It was great.
Q. What's the key to this golf course?
LOTTIE WOAD: Just miss it in the right spots, really. I hit a few bad shots today but they were just middle of the green, so you're fine. Just can't mace it in certain spots.
Q. Best of your birdies?
LOTTIE WOAD: I think probably just hole 2, just settled me down, holed a nice 15-footer and was away from there.
