Q. Take us through the round today. What worked well for you?

JENNY BAE: I think everything kind of clicked for me. First round, I try to go out with no expectations and shoot as low as I can and I think it was successful today.

Q. What is your experience with links golf?

JENNY BAE: It's actually my first time on a links golf. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little afraid. It's really fun, super challenging but I think it actually fits my style of golf. So I'm really excited for tomorrow.

Q. What kind of extra preparation do you have to do this week knowing it's your first time out here on a links course?

JENNY BAE: Try to stay as close to my routine as possible. Just try to hit shots a little lower. I try to work on that, yeah.

Q. Obviously knowing you have to deal with the different elements and everything like that, how are you able to adapt to some of the different shots you might have to do or anything like that?

JENNY BAE: I think just practise. There's no way that I can get used to any of this type of weather, especially in the States, much less in Georgia. For me it's go with the flow and just try to stay present and hope things go well.

Q. How does Dundonald Links suit your game?

JENNY BAE: It definitely challenges me to not use certain clubs out there and no matter what I feel in the end, it's not the right club, and so I feel like I can grow physically and mentally from this golf course. I can't wait to see what I can shoot tomorrow.

Q. What's the mindset heading into the rest of the week?

JENNY BAE: Try to get more sleep than last night, and just try to take to my routine. Just staying in the present every single shot.
