Q. Denny, you said 'the hard way'. Why was this one hard?

DENNY HAMLIN: Well, things are going pretty well there before the rain. Then obviously had to endure a few restarts there.

But yeah, it was tough. Those guys gave me a run for it, no doubt about it. This whole Progressive Toyota team did amazing. Coca-Cola, Shady Rays, Sport Clips, this whole team, just done an amazing job.

Winning here in Dover is super special to me. This is a place I've not been very good at the first half of my career. Having a back to back here over the last few years is amazing.

Q. You talked this was your worst racetrack for decades. Is there any racetrack you worked harder on to get better at than Dover?

DENNY HAMLIN: I just studied some of the greats here. I was very fortunate to have Martin Truex as a teammate. Jimmie Johnson, watching him win 10 times here. You learn from the greats and you change your game to match it, you have success like this.

Q. You put the number out there that 60 is what you wanted at some point in your career. You might get it this year the way things are going. Is that still the goal or even further to go on that?

DENNY HAMLIN: We got a lot left (smiling).
