Q. I'm here with Emerie. Emerie, this is your third U.S. Girls', correct? How has the week been this time around? Any experience you've taken from the last two and brought into this week?

EMERIE SCHARTZ: It's been really fun. Compared to the last two U.S. Girls' I've been to, I feel way more relaxed. I settled in faster than I have the last two times, and I think that just comes from more experience.

It's been really fun. The course is amazing, and it's in such great condition. It's awesome to be here, and this has been a great field overall.

Q. Want to walk me through the matches today and your thoughts about the matches. Any highlights from the day, anything like that?

EMERIE SCHARTZ: I don't think there were huge highlights. Just steady golf I was playing throughout the day. (Wind noise). In both matches I got up decently. I kind of struggled there towards the middle. I stuck through, I guess.

Q. I know you have your sister on the bag for you this week. How has that experience been for both of you?

EMERIE SCHARTZ: It's been really good and super fun. We balance each other so well with our personalities. I'm pretty calm, and she's kind of a go getter. She's so good at getting me settled.

It's really easy to deal with her, and we have such a great time. She's great on the bag. It's really cool she's a player too. She has the same kind of eye for the course, I guess.

Q. I know you all played four-ball together. How is that experience with match play? Have you brought anything from that into this week to help you out?

EMERIE SCHARTZ: Honestly, I feel like I have learning experiences from the past U.S. juniors and past four-balls with Avery has helped us so much more. That's another reason I'm super settled on the golf course. It's just been really good. It's been really fun.
