Q. Tell us about your first experience in the Open.

FILIP JAKUBCIK: I mean, it was great. I made a couple of mistakes on the back nine, but other than that, everything was literally perfect today.

Q. What was the best part, do you think, of your game today?

FILIP JAKUBCIK: I would say my iron game. My ball-striking was solid today.

Q. We saw your reaction yesterday during the practice, that hole-in-one. Can you talk a little bit about that?

FILIP JAKUBCIK: I mean, it one-hopped in. I would say it was pretty lucky that it one-hopped in because it would obviously be pretty long. I used the information from that day today because I hit one club less for that reason because I think it would be long.

But other than that, it was unreal making a hole-in-one on the practice round for The Open.

Q. Do you realise you're the first Czech to play The Open ever?

FILIP JAKUBCIK: Yes.

Q. What does it mean for you?

FILIP JAKUBCIK: I mean, it's surreal. There was actually one more Czech trying to qualify. He was one shot off, which was just such a shame. It would be so cool if there was two of us.

Other than that, it's super cool. I hope it's going to inspire everyone in Czech to play golf, try even harder to so we can get more players here.
