THE MODERATOR: Can you just talk us through that match a little bit?

HANNAH KLUGMAN: Yeah, obviously my first match, main draw match and against such a tough opponent. Yeah, it was an amazing occasion. I loved the atmosphere and, you know, also having my friends and family. I saw my family in my corner. It's amazing.

Obviously, you know, you don't get those moments a lot, so I tried to enjoy it. But, yeah, it was tough today. Conditions were tough. It was hot.

Yeah, obviously, of course, I'm disappointed a bit with how I played and also the outcome. There's a lot to learn from it, yeah.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. How much does that give you extra hunger now to go out and live that experience again?

HANNAH KLUGMAN: Yeah, for sure. Also it kind of puts you back in your place a little bit, but also it pushes me to do better, yeah. There's a lot to get better, and kind of she would expose the things I need to get better at. Yeah, it's good for me.

Q. What would be the point that you would take away from it to work on?

HANNAH KLUGMAN: You've got to go for it all the time, take those opportunities. It's just a different mentality, juniors to seniors. The shots you know I'd hit, which don't have a lot of purpose on it, and in juniors you extend the point. With her, she hits so well. I'm, like, Oh, my God, or I have a short ball, and I don't to put away.

Yeah, it's different pressures as well, yeah.

Q. How much extra experience and value does that give you just being out there today compared to a training session? How valuable was that, that wild card?

HANNAH KLUGMAN: You can't replicate it. Playing these players, you know, I've played in the last three weeks, top players, top-50 players. I mean, these opportunities are priceless.

Yeah, I'm so grateful to have this opportunity as well, you know. If it wasn't for the LTA and Wimbledon for giving me this, I wouldn't be able to do this, so yeah, I'm grateful.

Q. Can you feel your level improving over the last couple of weeks?

HANNAH KLUGMAN: Yeah, yeah. I think so, yeah (smiling), for sure. Also, it also kind of wakes me up a little bit to kind of -- I need to change a few things and kind of -- it's just a different mentality.

Obviously I'm playing such a high difference. I'm playing top-50 players. It's not like I'm playing somebody who is 200 in the world. So, yes, it's very different, but I mean, I'm really grateful.

Q. Was it what you expected in terms of atmosphere and the support that you got?

HANNAH KLUGMAN: I didn't think it would be that amazing. It was amazing.

I think it kind of got to me a little bit at one point physically, mentally. That's amazing having that many people behind me at such a young age, yeah.

Q. Who did you have in the crowd?

HANNAH KLUGMAN: I mean, I had my family. I also had my cousins, literally my whole family, my grandpa, and also I saw a couple of my friends.

I live in Wimbledon, so I have all the crowd, and I think that's tough. It's also tough. You know, you want to do well for them as well, but yeah.

Q. Have you had a chance to speak to them?

HANNAH KLUGMAN: No. No, not yet.

Q. Do you think that's when it will sort of sink in and you realize as much as you are disappointed, but you've achieved a big milestone in your career today?

HANNAH KLUGMAN: Yeah, for sure. My parents are proud of me. My family as well. Yeah, just happy.

Q. What's next for you?

HANNAH KLUGMAN: Juniors. Juniors next week and obviously doubles. Yeah, doubles. So it's just another opportunity to be on the grass in this amazing place as well. It's amazing.
