THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. Disappointing result today. How are you feeling afterwards?

FRANCESCA JONES: Really deflated, to be honest. Not much else I can say. I mean, I played a really good set and a half, and then I think momentum switched. She got the better of me there.

Q. From the World Tennis Tour point of view, you've had a really, really solid year, mostly on the clay. Are you feeling like you're a bit more adept at grass as the years go by, or is it still quite clay-dominant?

FRANCESCA JONES: Yeah, I mean, I get asked this a lot. My response is still the same. I've got earned points on every surface. Started the year with doing well on hard court. Won a couple of good matches this year on grass.

Obviously today was a bit of a lost opportunity for me, but I don't think surface has got anything to do with it.

Q. It looked like you sort of got into a rhythm that got a little disrupted towards the end of that. Was there anything that you put that down to, or just one of those things that happens in tennis?

FRANCESCA JONES: No, two important points in the -- I had the break point at 2-All, and then two important points in the 3-2 game. I played two really good points, but missed the second shot to finish them off.

As we've seen a lot recently in tennis, the momentum shifts are -- what's the word -- like, just stronger than ever. They kind of jolt you more than you may have seen in previous years because of how the game has developed.

Yeah, I think just unfortunately didn't manage to find that bit of rhythm again after.

Q. Obviously you're on Court 17. A lot of the Brits have been on that court. Some struggled to get on that court to watch you. How did you find it, sort of half shadow, half sun?

FRANCESCA JONES: I don't think I really think of that that much, to be honest. I think I was just thinking about the game and the tennis.

Yeah, I think I've got a lot better at not really considering external factors. Yeah, I just try to treat it as another match.
