THE MODERATOR: Flavio, that was quite an emotional victory and first time into a Grand Slam quarterfinals. Tell us how you're feeling.

FLAVIO COBOLLI: I mean, is something that I dream since when I was young, since when I start to play tennis. Everyone on my family, on my team, told me every day that I born to play match like this because they saw me really cold, electric on the court. They always told me that I live for this kind of match.

I think is true because I really love to play against a big player, against a legend of our sport. I like to play on this kind of stage, this kind of tournament. I really love to play here in Wimbledon. I love to play on grass.

Now I'm real emotional because this is the day that I never forget, for sure. I play really good match today. I'm very proud of myself, about my attitude on the court. I think I believe since the first point of the match to win today.

Yeah, I am really, really happy.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. You talk about your family. How much work have they done to get you to this point, your first major quarterfinal?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: I mean, they cried. They always let me free since when I was young. They always help me to growing up like this. So I think they are really important for me.

My dad is also my coach. Is something different about the normal player. But now I can see that many players - Zverev, many other players - has a father like a coach. I think it's help me a lot.

For sure is tough, but have my father or my family here is something special.

Q. What did you tell yourself coming into this match? Coming in against a finalist here, former Grand Slam champion, how did you get yourself in the zone from start to finish today?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: I just wanted to enjoy this match because I know really well Marin. I played him few times. I wanted to play this match because I think I have my chance to win this match. I think I really play good. I played since the first point like I wanted.

Of course, I told myself to be aggressive every point, to be with the right attitude because I think means a lot for me, for my game.

I think also the court help me because it was very big and a little bit slower than the other one. So it's also help me because I know is a little bit tough to play Court No. 1 or Centre Court. I think it help me a lot to play on Court No. 2.

Q. You have great success on clay and grass. The difference between clay and grass...

FLAVIO COBOLLI: The color (smiling).

Q. Is it easier for you to play natural surfaces than hard court, or is it the difference in the game style?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: I mean, I think I play good in all the surface now. I don't care about where I play, but how I play. I think I just want to play my game everywhere. So I think this is the key to play everywhere with a good...

Q. Do you feel you can impose your game on each surface, doesn't matter?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: Yeah, that's the thing, I think.

Q. You just spoke about how emotional, how special today was. Looking ahead to the next round, when you will be on Centre Court or Court 1, what are your thoughts about the opportunity ahead and about reaching this stage?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: I don't know yet (smiling). Will be for sure a day that I never forget because I always want to play on this kind of court. I don't know with who I have to play. I think they're still playing. I wait. Nole or de Minaur.

Yeah, I don't want to think about the court. I just want to enjoy the day. I just want to enjoy the court also, the crowd. Yeah, I want to be positive and I want to be like I did in first four round. I want to play my game. I don't want to think about the other player. I want to think about myself. I want to have fun every point I play in this kind of stage.

Q. They said on the commentary that you had a mix-up with your Airbnb. Is this true?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: I had some problem with my first house, but now I find the great solution. I slept well. I have a great relationship with the guy that I rent the apartment. Now I'm good shape.

Q. What happened at the start?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: Was too hot and a little bit small. But yeah, now I found the right solution.
