THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. May I just ask, Wimbledon champion, how good does that sound?
TOKITO ODA: I'm just tired right now (smiling). But honestly, that's best match I've ever play. And maybe for each other, we pushing... how we say... we pushing each other and definitely we make history.
Sometime I win, and sometime he win. It doesn't matter for us maybe. You know, when I lost the match, I feel down for sure. But me and Alfie making, like the other world, nobody don't know what's going on.
Many Japanese people excited to play me against him. That was special.
Q. You said it was the best match ever. Was it the quality of the tennis? You having missed here last year. The opponent? The venue? Just everything?
TOKITO ODA: Yeah, just everything. He's playing the best, and I play my best, and crowd was best. Not for me, but you know...
Everything was best conditions. You know, I want to make this match for the future.
Q. For those of us that will never win a Grand Slam, when that moment comes when you have won, can you just try and explain what that moment is like? You've got the emotions. You're about to celebrate. In that moment, what is that moment like?
TOKITO ODA: I always feel like I can win before the match, so it's not really like, Oh, my God, I win against Alfie, and I win the Wimbledon.
Feeling is different. Always going to be the winner, so it's the happiest time in my life. I always imagine that moment. So I just imagine the moment, and I just do imagine for the real. Just my imagine in the real, yeah.
Q. How do you plan to celebrate? How do you celebrate these sort of things, Grand Slam wins? How do you celebrate?
TOKITO ODA: I don't know right now. But maybe sushi. I go back to Japan and some Yakiniku or whatever. I want to eat some Japanese food. Maybe I go to the shopping tomorrow, yeah.
Q. If I missed it, did you do your guitar celebration today?
TOKITO ODA: No. Yeah, I was trying to do the guitar moments, but I lost the chance. Yeah, I couldn't do that.
Q. How high the level was today, how would you compare today to the Paralympic final?
TOKITO ODA: Paralympic Game is only one time in four years, so maybe both is different way for me. Paris is special place for me, and here is maybe biggest stage for Alfie. The moment is different, different way.
I love those moment. Today's match is like was really tight at the beginning to the finishing. In the second set, he played really good. I won one game, and he won one game. That was pretty close. So that's what I feel like it. That was best match for us.
Q. Obviously you need the US Open to win the current Grand Slam. Any thoughts? Have you been thinking about that?
TOKITO ODA: Yeah, I'm already looking forward to win US. That was my goal in this year. When this year started, I was looking forward to win US Open.
Then before the US Open we have the three Grand Slam. I feel like I got to win the other tournament. We giving everything for US Open. Now next tournament will be the US Open.
I just enjoying every moment and just playing my tennis.
