Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Lottie Woad after an absolutely incredible week. Just give me your first reactions. What a day today in in general.
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it's definitely a bit mixed. I'm going to be thinking about one shot probably for a while, but I'm very happy how I played today.
Yeah, great week.
Q. I mean, I think that's just a golfer's mindset in general. You're going to be replaying those shots. How proud are you of yourself? You won last week in Ireland and now coming here and having such a good like effort; how proud are you of yourself?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I'm really happy. I had a lot on the line this week, and going into today I knew what I needed to do. That kind of changed after the front nine with what I was going for.
Yeah, I'm happy to have secured that as well.
Q. For sure. And we've got to talk about LEAP obviously. You will be the first player to reach that threshold of points. How surreal is that? I know when they announced it you said you were definitely dialed in on that. How surreal is this moment and just knowing that's an option for you?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it's really cool. It's always nice to be the first to do something, so just grateful that I had the opportunity to do it.
Just, yeah, relieved now. It was kind of wearing on me for a bit.
Q. What's the next steps like look for you? You said you're going home. What's the next steps in that decision?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, just going to use next week at home with family and coaches to kind of discuss the options and then I'll decide after that.
Q. I just found out that your caddie is actually your coach.
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah.
Q. Since you were seven.
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah.
Q. How amazing was it to do it with him as well?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it's great. He's caddied at quite a few of the majors now. Yeah, it's been really fun. It's nice for the whole journey we've had together.
Q. I imagine that the LPGA Tour has been a dream of yours. Talk me through those emotions. Obviously you've tee'd it up in multiple LPGA Tour events, but being able to probably turn pro soon and tee it up as a professional.
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, 100%. I've always wanted to play on the LPGA. Whenever that is it's going to be really fun and I just look forward to playing all the events.
Q. How aware were you throughout the day where you stood on the leaderboard?
LOTTIE WOAD: Pretty aware. There are quite a few leaderboards, and I knew after may front nine that I was up there and I saw I was around the lead.
So, yeah, I knew for most of it.
Q. You're pretty stoic on the golf course. What was going through your mind throughout the day?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I was actually pretty relaxed. Even if I didn't win I kind of secured top 25. I was like, worst case I get my card, so I was pretty relaxed.
Q. That's got to be a pretty good worst case scenario.
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah.
