THE AMUNDI EVIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

July 13, 2025

Angel Yin

Evian-les-Bains, France

Evian Resort Golf Club

TV

Q. Okay, Angel, around in 63, finishing up a little while ago and gracious to wait for us to chat with her. Fantastic finish, Angel. How do you come alive there at the end of the round.

ANGEL YIN: I don't really know. I think Sandra Palmer told me at the U.S. Open this year, she said, on your last day, let Lady Luck take the wheel and have God put his hand on your shoulders. I think that happened on 18.

Q. Were you thinking about potentially winning the championship there on 18?

ANGEL YIN: No, not at all. I was just trying to scootch up the leaderboard and get a top 10.

Q. Talk about that stretch and how the last four holes are playing as we watch the leaders come through.

ANGEL YIN: To summarize, it was a lot of good shots on very small plateaus on the greens, and very good putts on tricky reads.

I was really able to capitalize with good shots and then good putts, so it was just a perfect combination.

Q. It's going to be your best finish here at the Amundi Evian Championship. Are you going to stick around? Do you think you still have a chance at one back?

ANGEL YIN: I don't think so, but I'm staying on the range so I can just roll out like I have been the last four days.
