Q. Third round 69. I know that's not the finish you wanted but how rewarding is it to still be in the mix?

MATT FITZPATRICK: Yeah, obviously it was a tougher day than the other days. 1-under was a better score than my first round' of 1-under.

I felt like I had a bit of an up-and-down round. Felt like I did a few things well. Across the board, but also, sort of a few mistakes as well. Just try and get rid of those tomorrow.

Q. Is there anything specific you hope to clean up going into the final round?

MATT FITZPATRICK: Nothing in particular. I feel like I've been everything pretty well so far this week. I felt like I did actually drive it better today which was a bit of an issue in the first two rounds.

So I think if I can drive it better again tomorrow and hit my irons a little bit better, I'll be in with a chance.

Q. They moved up tee times tomorrow because of the fog. What are your expectations of conditions?

MATT FITZPATRICK: Well, we're in Scotland. It's been 40 degrees every day. So yeah, just have to see. Fog is an interesting changeup as well. I don't really know what that means. I saw a little bit morning I think but didn't really make a difference to conditions. Be interesting to see how it plays.
