THE AMUNDI EVIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

July 12, 2025

Grace Kim

Evian-les-Bains, France

Evian Resort Golf Club

Quick Quotes

Q. Okay, here with Grace Kim after her third round at the Amundi Evian Championship. Can you just talk through today's round a little bit?

GRACE KIM: Yeah, I mean, I didn't really have momentum you have much momentum going. Birdied the second which was nice, but then kind of I guess, yeah, didn't really have much going on for me.

Then I think I got a little bit impatient I would say. Just a lot of pars. And then eventually I bogeyed 17 and I was like, come on, you can definitely make birdie or eagle at best on 18.

Yeah, just had a very quiet scorecard. Hopefully means I'm saving it for tomorrow.

Q. That's what I was going ask about. What are your thoughts going into tomorrow and what are you looking forward to the challenge of tomorrow?

GRACE KIM: I mean, I think the leaderboard is still pretty stacked. Anyone can win this.

Knowing that I still have a chance is always nice. To be able to carry that forward into tomorrow, just going to do the same thing.

I know I'm a little bit under the weather, but I am going to try my best to just going to try to do my best to do the same thing. No doubting myself. Just, yeah, backing myself more than anything.

Q. When you've been in similar positions like this, what have you learned about yourself that you really like to do or try to avoid on Sundays like this?

GRACE KIM: Generally I get pretty impatient. I start to tinker a little bit too much on the golf course. I think I learned quite easily that that doesn't work.

Yeah, the whole mindset into this week is, yeah, if you're worrying, that means you're doubting yourself. That's not what I practice for.

So just making sure I really trust my preparation into the week. Obviously had a good time back at home and good refresh, so, yeah, just, again, trusting myself.

Q. And how is your comfort level going into Sunday of a major championship?

GRACE KIM: I think it's a nice position to be in. I think maybe second to last group tomorrow. Yeah, again, chasing from behind is always kind of fun. Yeah, it's nice to be in a position where you can chase the leaders down.

Q. And what are your thoughts being at the top of the leaderboard with Gabi and Minjee.

GRACE KIM: Yeah, pretty cool. Obviously Minjee has done this before. Yeah, just to be able to showcase more of the Aussie depth, I think that's really cool to show how far we've come. And, yeah, how bright our future is.
