Q. Alongside three time major champion in contention to win again tomorrow. Minjee, yesterday when you stood on the 7th tee you were level par for the championship?

MINJEE LEE: Yeah.

Q. Now in the hunt. How have you managed to turn it around in the last round and a half?

MINJEE LEE: Yeah, I mean, after my start yesterday wasn't looking too good but I knew there was a few opportunities come the seventh and the ninth to make a couple birdies and swing the momentum a better way.

So, yeah, just tried to stay patient and take advantage of the opportunities that were given to me yesterday. Even today I just felt like I kept myself in it.

When I had some par putts I had to make I made clutch putts to keep the momentum going. It's always nice to finish off with a birdie on 18, so, yeah.

Q. When you look at that leaderboard, you're the most experienced when it comes to major championships. How much does experience count on Sunday at a major, especially here?

MINJEE LEE: Yeah, I mean, I think just being here over the years, like you know kind of a little bit where the breaks are going. I think in general being in this position before, being where I am probably by the end of today, I think it's just going to be nice to have that kind of experience under my belt and know like just being there and being patient and just hanging enough you have tough when it gets tough.

Like you will still have a chance, and I think, yeah, just play each shot as it goes. It's Evian, so the course may give you some bounces that might not go in your favor. That's the way it is for everybody.

Yeah, no, hopefully good Sunday tomorrow.

Q. How important and special has this town been for you in your career?

MINJEE LEE: Yeah, obviously Evian was my first major title, so, yeah, it's always lovely to come back here. I have really great memories here just from debuting here as well as a professional. I think over the years just I've really come to like this place, and I mean, you can't go wrong with these views any time you come here.
