Q. Your first round today, how was the course? How was the experience? How were the fans out there today?

ROGER CLEMENS: It's always tough. It's just a blast being out here at the American Century. I mean, we have a good time. We've got two more days. But it's work. You've got to focus. You've got to keep your ball in play. There's some really great golfers out there that play a lot. Hopefully I'll get better as the next couple days go.

Q. You talk about focus. You're out here playing today but your head and heart is a little bit back home. Talk about what's on your mind and what's going on back home.

ROGER CLEMENS: We're out here having a good time. They still haven't found some of those eight-year-old girls.

One of our closest friends, we got woke up today and were told they found her finally. That's why I have Kelly Ann on my wrist. And they're good friends. Her dad played football with my oldest son. We're thinking about them. You just really can't comprehend it.
