Q. Tell us about your round today. The difference between today and yesterday.

STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: Today I just holed a few more putts and gave myself a few more chances. I think yesterday I hit it off the tee not very well, so, yeah, today I put myself in position a bit more. That give me some more opportunities.

Q. After what you learned about this golf course, what are the right things you're doing now?

STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: To hit it in the fairway I would say. It's a big key around here. The rough is up so it's quite difficult to hit it to these pin positions if you're not in the fairway.

Q. How important were your stretch of birdies at 5, 6, and 9 today?

STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: Pretty important I would say. I mean, it got the momentum going a bit. I made a couple soft bogeys on 1 and 4, so yeah, to get those back quickly was nice.

Q. Were any of them in particular good in your round in the scheme of things?

STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: I mean, 5 was a good birdie. It's long par-3. I hit 5-iron, so making a birdie with a 5-iron is always good.

Q. With Grace at the top of the leaderboard, can you tell us much about your amateur days together?

STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: Gracie, I haven't really got much juice on her. I don't know. She's very consistent. She always hits it straight.

I mean, she's just a pretty stock golfer. Like fairways, greens; it's just easy to watch her play golf.

As a person she's quite clumsy, but I can't think of any stories off the top of my head.

Q. What do you know about her nails?

STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: Oh, yeah, she loves getting her nails done. Gets all the fancy ones. I think she's got a croissant and a couple other things on her nails. I don't know. It's just her thing.

Q. How do you think she'll handle going into the weekend in a major?

STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: I think she'll handle it well. She's been in contention plenty of times before. She has won out here. Obviously it's a bit different in a major. Your emotions are different. I think she can handle it well.

Q. What was the highlight of your shoot with Walker Golf in London?

STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: They brought a wallaby, which is a baby kangaroo for people that don't. It was just really cute. It was like about this big and just nice and cuddly. That was probably the highlight.

Q. What will be the significant Steph Kyriacou style with Walker Golf?

STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: I don't know. I kind of like this shirt, the green. Haven't figured that out yet. Maybe classy: Navy shirt, white bottoms. I think that's always smart.

Q. You played really well here last year, too. What has it been like to be back here with that in mind? Maybe remember some of the great shots you had last year and reflecting on that.

STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: Yeah, it's been nice to be back. Obviously great memories here. Played pretty well here the last few years, but just try not to put too much pressure on it.

Memories are great, but trying to not let that -- that the expectation is there. Yeah, it's nice to be back this a spot where I've played well.
