Quick Quotes
Q. Second round 66, I asked you yesterday about your ball-striking. Your comment was it was okay. Today you moved up to third tee-to-green. Do you have the same assess many or are you feeling better?
NICK TAYLOR: No, it's definitely better. It's sort of nice to know when I hit a bad shot why I'm hitting it. So even that 9-iron I hit on the last or that shot I hit on the last on hole 9, I'm not sitting here sort of thinking of why I did it. I know what I need to do to correct it.
For a bit, it was a little slippery with hitting it both ways and not knowing what you're doing, but the ball-striking is definitely better.
Q. I know you're not pleased with where you are putting-wise, but can you take a little bit of solace, coming over to links greens, slower and not as much break?
NICK TAYLOR: Yeah, there are some spots on the greens that are a little bouncy. You just need to hit them with a certain speed and pick the correct line. I think some people are adjusting better than others.
Q. You've played in pretty much every condition, I would think, on this golf course over years playing this. Is it as benign as you remember? Are you able to be aggressive?
NICK TAYLOR: Yeah, it felt like it was out there which is probably why you feel let down even after a 66. It's the nicest day I've ever seen here for myself. Blowing four for most of our round, feels like you can birdie a lot of holes.
