Q. 65, 68. How to you evaluate your first two rounds here at the Genesis Scottish Open?

MATTI SCHMID: My first 27 holes were really nice. The last few now today were a bit so-so, I would say, but overall, obviously nice play.

Q. You come into this week with great momentum and great form. You had a Top-10 last week at your home tournament at the BMW International and some great, great results on the PGA TOUR overseas.

MATTI SCHMID: Last week was great, obviously in front of the home crowds and I had a couple nice finishes in the PGA and hopefully I can build on that.

Q. What's been the challenges out there? Obviously we have pretty hot weather this year.

MATTI SCHMID: Yeah, it's hot. The fairway is running like crazy. So it's tough to keep the balls on the fairway because they run out so much. Everything is really firm. So yeah, you have to pick good spots and hopefully deliver.

Q. I hear the greens are running slower than what you would be used to.

MATTI SCHMID: With the winds, they have to keep the greens a bit slower here but I think if you putt well, you can make a few.

Q. You've accomplished so much already, having such a great season, do you have any goals that you want to tick between now and the end of the year?

MATTI SCHMID: Obviously I would like to get myself in the Playoffs and Top-50, get a win. Those are the goals, I would say.
