Quick Quotes
Q. 64 is what you've carded for your second round here at the Genesis Scottish Open. Were the conditions slightly more forgiving today?
HARRY HALL: Yeah, definitely. This wind position allows you to hold the green on a couple par 5s, and yeah, it made 5 drivable. Definitely an easier wind.
Q. We've had the pleasure of you having on the DP World Tour a few times last season; I think the highlight might have been Wentworth, a top 20 finish there.
HARRY HALL: Yeah, that was great to play Wentworth for the first time in front of a home crowd.
Q. You played this tournament once before in 2023. How are you finding the Scottish experience this week?
HARRY HALL: Yeah, I love it. It's great to be back.
Q. Have you got your sights on something for the week? It's going to be same conditions throughout the week, depending on where the wind is blowing.
HARRY HALL: I just hope it's not blowing 40 like it did a couple years ago. I was in a similar position and didn't really deal with the gusts that well on that Sunday. So hopefully the wind stays down, but if it does get up, hopefully I'll learn from the last time.
Q. You've played your golf for years on the other side of the Atlantic. Do you feel like some of the American guys; that you need find your feet again when you come back to a links course?
HARRY HALL: Didn't really need to. I qualified at Burnham, 36 holes on the links there on Tuesday, and I had not played links golf for a few months, at least eight months. So I think I've fit quite nicely back into it.
Q. Great week to prepare for next, as well, isn't it?
HARRY HALL: Yeah, I'm not sure how Portrush is like and how it compares to Renaissance but hopefully firm and fast.
