Q. Okay, here with Jenn Kupcho after her first round at the Amundi Evian Championship. Really great round today; tied for the lead. Just touch on how you played today.

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Yeah, I started off a little bit rocky I would say. Kind of just a little bit out of sorts. Swinging a little quick.

Yeah, kind of just settled down halfway through the back nine, my front nine, and kind of just got it together. Was hitting the ball into the green really well.

So even missing some fairways I was able to recover.

Q. And what have you done in leadup to not only this event, but the European swing, AIG, just a tough kind of last push for major golf it seems like?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Yeah, I mean, I haven't really started well with the majors this year, so kind of just all the same. Just kind of trying to stick with it and prepare the best that I can.

This golf course is a little bit different than others, so I think definitely had some good bounces. You can have some bad bounces so I think it's just taking it and doing with it what you can.

Q. What do you like most about this golf course?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: The views are nice. No, I think it's just like a different type of golf. I feel like you can use so many different slopes and even knowing where to miss on the greens so you can have an easier shot if you miss it.

It's just a little bit different mindset I feel like than normal just like shoot at the pins.

Q. And last question I was going to ask you was what has it been like since you won this season? Has it given you confidence? Have you seen any kind of changes mentally with that?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: I think it's just like made me relax a little bit, just to like to not have to worry about anything. I can play whatever events I want.

Other than that hasn't changed a whole lot. I'm still not playing my best I would say, so I think just kind of sticking with it but knowing I can still win even if I may not have my best.

Q. Is it comforting to know that you had a good first round and you don't have to play catchup or anything like that?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Yeah, I would say really this year or, yeah, this whole season I've kind of had not a great first round and then the cuts I have made I've come out really strong the second round.

Hopefully just the good golf continues tomorrow and I don't fall back, but, yeah.
