Q. Here with Mary Liu after her first round at the Evian Championship. Great round today. Talk about what went well for you.

MARY LIU: Everything goes well, and especially tee off the first group. And then the course is pretty, it's wide open for us. Our group, we play really well, and then we have little chat and everything feel really chill. Even wake up like 4:00 am, still like we have fresh day, pretty weather, and beautiful golf course, and then everything just so nice.

Q. And you had three birdies I believe in a row on your front nine. Can you just talk about those holes specifically.

MARY LIU: Actually I don't really remember the details, but overall and from all the experience I learn from since I was six. So I kind of like the pretty course and I love to enjoy myself more right now, so I think that's the most important thing that I can play good today.

But we'll see. It's only the first round. We'll see if I can keep doing this and drive better.

Q. You said this was your first time here at Evian. What are you enjoying most about being here in the city and this golf course?

MARY LIU: Definitely when it's Saturday when I arrive and I went to the Evian, the little city, and have a dinner with my mom and share a picture to my family and to friends.

Feels like really chill and the food is really delicious and the view from the lake and see the Swiss and then just everything. It's little bit new for me, but I feels really good. I really enjoy it.
