Q. Here with Bailey Bish. Finished 73 today, +19 for the championship. Talk about what it would mean if your score holds up to win for your category again.

BAILEY BISH: To win my category again would be incredible. This last year has been tough medically for me, and to know I still have it in me to play golf with everything I have going on means a lot.

Q. Talk a little bit about your journey between last year and this year, preparation and how you saw that reflected in your play.

BAILEY BISH: Yeah, so I've had a lot of changes between last year and this year. My wonderful neurologist passed away who was doing my Botox injections. Unfortunately it's taking a long time to get back into the groove of things with my new neurologist.

So I am having more severe symptoms and it's not as well managed as I was before. In preparing for this tournament I've been practicing as much as I can, but also visualizing and meditating and trying to get myself as mentally prepared as possible.

Q. First year this championship is live broadcast on Golf Channel. Can you talk about what that means.

BAILEY BISH: It's incredible that this championship is being broadcast live on Golf Channel. It really shows that adaptive golf is getting attention and that adaptive golfers are good and it's being recognized by the entire world.

Q. Last question: Can you talk about what was next for you, whether it's getting better physically, mentally, and maybe also your playing schedule.

BAILEY BISH: Yeah, so I'm going to keep at it with physical therapy and personal training to get as strong as I possibly can. My next tournament will be the Michigan Adaptive Open later this month.
