MAX TOGISALA: I think just following this like before, I was practicing a ton, so I was pretty confident with my game going into this.

MAX TOGISALA: I mean, it's a blast. It was fun. I was definitely thinking about that record when I was coming down 18. I was like, I think I got it, so...

Q. Is the best round of golf you've played?

MAX TOGISALA: This is not. I've tied my record actually. So I needed that last putt to break it.

Q. What was the previous record? Do you remember where it was?

MAX TOGISALA: It was at much easier golf course than this one.

Q. How did you feel coming about your game coming into this week? Is this something you expected, to be tied for second?

MAX TOGISALA: I mean, honestly I wasn't expecting anything crazy, but just trying to have fun out there, you know.

KIPP POPERT: So I was going round this golf course earlier and I wanted to ask you how it felt to play a course that to me seems so adapted for us. Yeah, tell me about it.

MAX TOGISALA: You know, as a seated golfer it's really, really accessible. It's easy to get around. It's flat and still challenging at the same time.

So I think this is a great place to host a championship like this.

KIPP POPERT: What did you have for breakfast?

MAX TOGISALA: I didn't eat anything for breakfast.
