THE MODERATOR: All right, here with our defending champion, Bailey Bish. Given that you are the defending champion coming into this week, do you feel like there is any added pressure or are you taking this week differently as you would have maybe last year?

BAILEY BISH: No. I'm just taking this week one shot at a time, going to do my best, and see how it ends up at the end of the week.

Q. How do you think you'll lean on your experience from last year knowing you are a USGA champion?

BAILEY BISH: Yeah, gained a lot of confidence after the championship last year knowing that I'm capable of playing golf at a very high level. It's an honor to have my coach and caddie here with me, Susie Meyers. We make a great team and I'm excited for this week on the course.

Q. Speaking of the golf course, what are your thoughts on the golf course and does it suit your game?

BAILEY BISH: It's a beautiful course. Absolutely love it. The greens are quick and very undulating so it's going to take some getting used to, but I'm excited for the challenge.

Q. You said it's going to take you some getting used to. Are you not familiar with setups similar to this? Can you describe how this might differ from what you're used to playing?

BAILEY BISH: Yeah, so I'm not used to having greens that undulate so much. I'm not used to greens this quick either. So it's going to be a little bit of an adjustment, but I'm ready for it.

Q. What's the past year been like for you? You were crowned USGA champion a year ago. What's the last 12 months been like?

BAILEY BISH: It's been a great 12 months. It's an honor to be a USGA champion. I've received a lot of people reaching out who want to learn more about adaptive golf and the opportunities that exist. It's an honor to be able to share that information with others.

Q. What's the goal for this week?

BAILEY BISH: Do my best, take it one shot at a time, and yeah, we'll see where it ends up at the end of the week.
