Quick Quotes

Q. Chanettee Wannasaen is with us now at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Chanettee, a nice 68 for you today. How would you summarize your final round?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: Actually today I play really good. Like approach shot is much better than yesterday, and like it's not too much windy today.

I think condition is not hard like yesterday because not wind too much but still have been. Yeah, that make me can like have chance it made a birdie.

Q. What do you take from the week, from what happened here this week? What was positive for you from the week?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: I start this week like -- because last year I play KPMG, right, but I miss cut. So I came here for this tournament with positive things, like I will make a cut.

And then made the best what I can do. Yes, I can do better and much better than last year.

Q. Now that you've played four rounds here, what is your overall impression of the golf course? Do you feel like it is major-tournament caliber?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: It's hot here. It's very hot here and pretty windy. And the golf course was so tough. Like it's a major, yeah. You know, it's a major. That's why like condition is very tough. It's make sense.

But good golf course and I play really well this week, so I'm really happy to play in this golf course. I enjoy and have fun, so much fun this tournament this week.

Q. It was a good test for you?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: Yes.

Q. You talk about the 15th hole?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: 15? 15? 15? 15?

Q. The short par-4.

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: Okay, so that's a very good shot on the tee box, yeah, because I hit driver but that is not a good hit, but that's a good miss actually.

Because I hit like the ball is a little bit low and I thought, I was like, it's cover the bunker? My caddie was like, it's cover the bunker, the front bunker? And he was like no, it's cover. Absolutely it's cover.

I'm like, okay, because I thought -- because I hit really low, right, and I thought it's going to not cover the bunker, and I came to on the green and was like, I saw the two balls on the green. The closer is mine and the far one is Grace Kim ball and Ronni is over the green.

I'm like, okay, I only have one chance to make an eagle. If it I miss it, I can make a birdie by the way. It's not a pressure. Just putt it. Let's see what a result after that.

Q. After you made that eagle, did you look at a scoreboard and get a feel for where you were? Were you all of a sudden thinking differently?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: Yes, after I made eagle I saw the scoreboard. Like Minjee still 4-under or something, right, 3-under. 3-under par, right, after I finish on hole 15. I was like, yeah, I have chance but just I don't think about like I'm going to win or something. Just play.

Just, no, because I don't like when I play under the pressure. It's very stressful so I don't like it. I just play what I can do, you know.
