Quick Quotes

Q. I Yealimi Noh is with us now at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Yealimi, what can you tell us about your day and particularly your two eagles?

YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, it was a crazy day. Obviously super windy. Very challenging out there. My round was all over the place. Started off with a bunch of bogeys and then I think I hit my driver better than I did my shorter iron clubs.

Those two eagles were -- I don't think I've ever done that. That was pretty cool.

Q. What was the biggest challenge out there today?

YEALIMI NOH: Just I mean, the wind was just so -- it's not only strong but a bit on and off. Some holes were stronger than others, just the gusts. Yeah, staying patient. Trying to stay in the fairways, stay on the greens.

Q. You said it was such a crazy day. What would you say is the high and the low of the day?

YEALIMI NOH: Well, the highs were definitely the eagles. That was pretty cool. To hit my driver within six feet on both of the reachable par-4s was pretty cool. And then making the putts was really nice.

Just the low is just the two bogeys after the eagle always sucks. But overall, I think decent round considering the conditions.

Q. How do you keep your focus and your faith when your round is a rollercoaster like that?

YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, just knowing it's playing hard for everyone. Just focusing on what I'm doing and not thinking about what other people are shooting and stuff. It's tough for everyone, so just focusing on what I'm doing in the moment.

Q. One of the eagles on 15, did you use a slope in back?

YEALIMI NOH: I think it did. I saw the ball -- I have a lot of trouble watching my ball. Like I saw that one land close to the hole and I think it definitely used the slope in the back and then came back.

Q. Had you tried to drive those holes also Thursday, Friday?

YEALIMI NOH: No, no, because they were -- well, 7 I hit driver every day, but 15, today was the only time it was up.

Q. Right now Minjee Lee is 6-under. Do you consider yourself a good chaser?

YEALIMI NOH: I would say so but she's playing -- to shoot under par today is unbelievable. It's a really, really solid round. She's on fire. (Smiling.)

Q. What score if she posts it do you think is too far away for you to catch her?

YEALIMI NOH: I don't know. Honestly, every day is different. You never know until the gloves are off. Whatever she's doing, just focus on myself and try to do the best I can to get close to her.
